Welcome to our on line entry form.
You can enter and pay on our new secure online entry facilities. Please read the full instructions (please scroll down to the bottom) carefully before you get started to avoid processing errors.
Here’s how it works:
1.) Log yourself into your existing account or create a new one now. Alternatively do this later in the entering process.
2.) Click on an event which you can find in the top left corner.
3.) Now choose the distance you are intending to take part in.
4.) Click on the ‘Buy Now’ button for your age/gender category.
5.) Then either go to checkout or continue shopping (adding other events to your entry)
6.) When you are done click checkout and simply follow the on screen instructions.
7.) After completing your PayPal payment click the RETURN TO MERCHANT button this brings you back to the mtb-marathon online entry and confirms your entry has been processed.
8.) CONFIRMATION AND REGISTRATION: Once your entry has been verified you will receive an email from John Lloyd Racing Events Ltd (Subject title will be Order Process) telling you the event(s) you have successfully entered, your order number and the amount paid. This is your entry confirmation for the events - please note that the confirmation does not carry your start number any more. Simply turn up at the event, find your name and your start number on one of the information boards and sign on at the registration. You will not receive any further correspondence from us. Please print the PayPal confirmation and take it with you to the event as a backup.
9.) ONLY ONE RIDER PER ONLINE ENTRY! Each rider must be entered and paid for SEPERATELY, even if using the same credit card for more then one rider. If you are unsure about this please contact us on info@mtb-marathon.co.uk before you enter.
What this means is that is, if for example, you want to enter your partner or your child you have to go through the online entry process for every individual rider even if you are living at the same address and/or using the same credit card.
IMPORTANT: AGE AT THE DATE OF THE 1ST EVENT (14TH April 2007) DETERMINES AGE/CATEGORY FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!
We use PayPal as the payment facility but don’t worry if you don’t have an account. It can be set up within the entry process in just a couple of minutes.
Once you have finished putting in your details and completed the payment process successfully you will receive an email confirmation. Please note that we do not give out start numbers any more as they will now be given to you at the registration at the various events.

Please make sure you read and understand the event declaration, fill in all the details and tick the rides you want to take part in. It is no problem to vary the distance from event to event but please check that you choose only one course length per event when you submit the entry.
Declaration:
I hereby apply to participate in any one or more of the 2007 non-competitive MERIDA BIKES MTB MARATHON SERIES event(s).
I accept and agree that neither the Organisers, nor their agent, Officials, the Landowner, Sponsors and fellow riders shall be liable in any way, or in any circumstances for any damage, injury or loss to me or to my party that may occur during, in connection with, or as a result of taking part in the event(s). I understand to abide by the rules of the promoter. I agree that I participate in the event entirely at my own risk and that I am of sound mind and body, that I will ride within my capabilities and that the cycle I will ride in the event is in good working order and properly maintained. (The Austria event falls under different rules and regulations than the UK events. A separate declaration has to be signed at the registration at Bad Goisern).
If you are entering the Junior (16-17yrs old) or the ‘Youth’ (12-15 yrs old) category please make sure that your Parent/Guardian reads and gives their full consent to your participation in any of the Merida Bikes MTB Marathon Events 2007. Also please have your Parent/Guardian with you when you sign on at the events and make sure that they accompany you on the ride/marathon. We will not be held responsible if you ignore these simple guidelines.
IMPORTANT - TICKET AND ENTRY INFORMATION FOR ‘THE OUTSIDER’ EVENT IN AVIEMORE.
The entry to the Aviemore round (the Outsider) of the Merida Bikes MTB Marathon is divided into two parts.
1.) A registration fee of only £ 15 per person which can be booked through this online entry.
2.) The entry to the festival – please go to www.outsiderfestival.com to book.
You CANNOT take part in the Merida mountain bike event without having purchased at least the Saturday only ticket. All Merida Outsider entrants buying Saturday-only festival tickets will also receive a complementary pass to the Festival for Friday night. The Merida Outsider event will start and finish inside the event arena. The event registration is inside the event arena as well!
