  ENTRY FORM

Dear ‘Marathonists’ and ‘Sportive’ riders

Welcome to our ‘on line’ entry form.

Below you will find two different ways to enter the Merida Bikes MTB Marathon Series and the GORE BIKLEWEAR Road Sportives.

1.) You can download an entry form by clicking on the download button below. As there are six different mountain bike marathon events in the 2008 programme plus four NEW for 2008 road sportives which might need a little bit of explaining we would advise everybody to download and print off the whole entry form as it gives you all the information you need. We have two different versions here with two different resolutions.
Please fill in the form in and send it together with your cheque to our registration office in Builth Wells (you will find the address on the entry form). Once we have received your entry form and your cheque we will send you a confirmation by email or post. Please note that we do not give out start numbers any more as they will now be given to you at the registration of the various events.

2.) You can enter and pay via our new secure online entry facility. Simply click on the online entry button and follow the instructions on screen. You can pay with credit or debit cards. If you are unsure about the online entry or if you have any problems please contact us on info@mtb-marathon.co.uk.

On the online entry you will find the discounted ‘weekend tickets’. The ‘weekend ticket’ at the Ruthin, Builth Wells (July event), Selkirk and Penrith event entitles you to the GORE BIKE WEAR Road Sportive Series ’08 (Saturday) and the Merida Bikes MTB Marathon (Sunday). We will enter you into the longest distance each day (Saturday: approx. 100mile, Sunday: approx. 100km) but you can always downgrade when you sign on at registration in the event village.
The ‘weekend ticket’ at the April Builth Wells event entitles you to the ELBNO and the Spring Marathon. We will enter you into the longest distance each day (Saturday: ELBNO, Sunday: 65km) but you can always downgrade when you sign on at registration in the event village.

BAD GOISERN, AUSTRIA EVENT:
If you want to enter the Bad Goisern event in Austria then please do not go through the online entry. We have a downloadable entry form for you here (10mb in high quality / 0.7mb in low quality PDF). Please fill this in and send it together with your cheque to:
mjw marketing ltd.
7 Edward Road
Arnos Vale
Bristol
BS4 3ET

Please make the cheques for the Bad Goisern event payable to: mjw marketing ltd. We will confirm your entry to the Bad Goisern event by post or email. Please see the Bad Goisern event page for entry details and for further information on the special Merida package deal (accommodation).

NOTE: Please make sure you read and understand the event declaration. By clicking through to the online entry you accept the declaration and the terms and conditions of the events. Please make sure that you read all the instructions on the ‘online entry’ page before you start the entry process.

Declaration:

I hereby apply to participate in any one or more of the 2008 non-competitive MERIDA BIKES MTB MARATHON SERIES event(s) or/and GORE BIKE WEAR ROAD SPORTIVE SERIES.

I accept and agree that neither the Organisers, nor their agent, Officials, the Landowner, Sponsors and fellow riders shall be liable in any way, or in any circumstances for any damage, injury or loss to me or to my party that may occur during, in connection with, or as a result of taking part in the event(s). I understand to abide by the rules of the promoter. I agree that I participate in the event entirely at my own risk and that I am of sound mind and body, that I will ride within my capabilities and that the cycle I will ride in the event is in good working order and properly maintained. (The Austria event falls under different rules and regulations than the UK events. A separate declaration has to be signed at the registration at Bad Goisern).

If you are entering the Junior (16-17yrs old) or the ‘Youth’ (12-15 yrs old) category please make sure that your Parent/Guardian reads and gives their full consent to your participation in any of the Merida Bikes MTB Marathon Events 2008 / GORE BIKE WEAR Road Sportive Series ‘08. Also please have your Parent/Guardian with you when you sign on at the events and make sure that they accompany you on the ride/marathon.

We will not be held responsible if you ignore these simple guidelines.

Please ring John Lloyd if you have any questions on: 01982 552923
