Conditions on the ground
With the recent weather the UK enjoyed it is unlikely we will have a ‘bone dry’ event up in Selkirk but luckily the vast majority of the Selkirk routes are run on stony tracks which should make for a fast and flowy ride. The weather forecast for the weekend is looking not too bad for both days ith Sunday being the sunnier day of the weekend.

To enter the MTB Marathon please go directly to the entry page where you can either download an entry form or enter directly through the new online entry service. To enter the VITUS Sportive please click here. You can still enter the sportive as well as the MTB marathon via the online entry up to but if you enter after Friday (18th May) lunchtime don’t be surprised that your name will not be on the entry list. No worries though we can look you up and add you to the start list. The entry to the UK MTB-Marathon Championships is unfortunately closed and there is no day entry possible.
Location of the Selkirk round:
The Selkirk round will be based at the Selkirk RFC which will be signposted form Friday lunchtime onwards. The event venue, camping, parking and the start/finish (road and MTB) will all be based at the Rugby Club. The Club has fantastic facilities, ample of hard standing and a well stocked bar. • Saturday from 7am – 8pm (Please note: from 6 – 9am Saturday only road sportive riders can register)
• Sunday from 7 – 9am
Weekend Ticket and day entries
With two events on offer we will have again a weekend ticket which will give riders who want to take part in both events over the weekend (sportive on Saturday and MTB Marathon on Sunday) a discount offering the whole for a combined price of £47. There will also be day entries available but there is a £5 at the event entry surcharge. So why not save yourself some money and enter now!

The Vitus Sportive Series aims to showcase the best riding in the area and this weekend’s venue is no exception with fantastic roads and awe-inspiring scenery high on the menu once again.
